2. Slide the replacement power supply into the chassis until the power supply snaps into place, and push
the handles into the closed position.
3. Connect the power cable to the power supply and plug the cable into a power outlet.
4. Turn on the power switch.
Allow up to a minute for the system to recognize the power supply and determine its status. The AC
enabled LED turns green to signify that the power supply is functioning properly.
5. In the remote management console, delete any administrative alerts and close any service tickets.
Replacing an Array Module Controller
This section describes how to remove and replace a controller in a DXi6900-S Array module (RBOD) and

Caution:
Use this procedure only to replace a single failed controller in an Array Module. If both
controllers in an Array Module have failed, do
not
follow this procedure. Instead, contact Quantum
Support.
Obtaining a Replacement Array Module Controller
Before beginning the replacement procedure, make sure that you have the required replacement kit. The
appropriate replacement Array module controller will be provided by Quantum Customer Support (see
).
You will need the following items to perform this procedure:

Replacement Array module controller provided by Quantum Customer Support.
l
ESD grounding wrist strap (included in the replacement kit)
