3-2 Setting Conditions for Taking Images
You can set the conditions for taking images to use in inspections.
To enable accurate judgements, the following adjustments are made for the conditions for taking images and
the images themselves.
Taking Clear Images (Camera Set u p)
Adj u sting the Foc u s
Adj u st the foc u s of the Lens.
Taking Bright Images of Dark O b jects and Taking Clear Images of Mo v ing O b jects
Adj u st the sh u tter speed and gain.
Adj u sting the Colors of the Image ( W hite Balance)
Adj u st the w hite b alance so that the colors match those of the act u al meas u rement o b ject.
Impro v ing the Image Q u ality of Metallic and Other Shiny S u rfaces (HDR)
Make adj u stments for shiny o b jects or metallic s u rfaces.
For a Sensor w ith bu ilt-in lighting, attach a polarizing filter to c u t spec u lar reflections.
Adj u sting the Images That W ere Taken (Image Adj u stment)
Filtering the Images (Filter Items)
Apply filters to adj u st the images that w ere taken.
Compensating for Position Offset (Position Compensation Items)
Recognize meas u rement o b jects that are not in a consistent location and mo v e them to the center of the image.
