FRA 51615

4.5 Measurement control

This section explains how to start and stop the measurement process of this instrument.

The instrument can perform sweep measurements and spot measurements.

Sweep measurement

: The frequency response characteristic is measured by sweeping over

frequencies and the measurement results are displayed as a graph. Sweep

measurements include upsweep measurements, which measure over

increasing frequencies and downsweep measurements, which measure over

decreasing frequencies.

Spot measurement

: The measurement is performed at the frequency that has been set. The

measurement result is displayed at the center of the LCD screen in large

characters.

Measurement control is performed by using the

MEASURE

keys on the front panel.

: Start a spot measurement

: Start an upsweep measurement
