■ Constraints on the input weighting function
The values that can be set with the input weighting function are limited to real numbers (not complex
numbers) that are independent of the measurement frequency. For that reason, the phase does not change
when the amplitude and gain of the measurement results are corrected.
For more accurate correction that includes the frequency characteristic and phase change, use the
equalizing function (for gain-phase measurements) and the open correction, short correction, and load
correction functions (for impedance measurements).
■ Example of phase inversion function setting (INVERT)
This is set to
[ON]
when the signal polarity of either one of CH1 or CH2 is reversed in a connection. It is
normally set to
[OFF]
.
Set this function to
[ON]
when performing impedance measurements using the "
PA-001-0368
IMPEDANCE MEASUREMENT ADAPTER"
(optional). For more information, refer to the instruction
manual for the "
PA-001-0368 IMPEDANCE MEASUREMENT ADAPTER"
.
