5.5 Graph display

FRA 51615

5.5.4 Trace operation

The graphing function of this instrument can display two types of traces, MEAS TRACE and REF TRACE.

Each trace can have Y1 data and Y2 data, which can each be set individually to be displayed or not

displayed. Data that is obtained by measurement is stored in MEAS TRACE data and that data is

overwritten each time a measurement is performed. REF TRACE data, on the other hand, is retained unless

explicitly removed or changed. With reference data displayed in REF TRACE, measurement data can also

be plotted at the same time for comparison.

■ Copying MEAS TRACE to REF TRACE

To copy the measurement data (MEAS TRACE) to REF TRACE, select

tap on the

[REF TRACE]

function key. The copy completed message will be displayed for a short time.

The copying can also be accomplished by selecting

[MEAS COPY]

, pressing the

ENTER

key, selecting

[REF TRACE]

ENTER

key again.
