Select the oscillator output waveform from among sinusoidal (

SINE

), square (

SQUARE

), and triangular

(

TRIANGLE

Select

】

[WAVEFORM]

The waveform that is set is displayed as an icon in the upper part of the screen.

Normally, the sinusoidal waveform (

SINE

) is used. The measurement accuracy of this instrument is

always specified for the sinusoidal waveform. The square and triangular waveforms are used for checking

the operation of the circuit being measured; they are not suitable for measuring frequency characteristics

with this instrument.
