OSD Simple Mode

In OSD simple mode, the name of the CPU blade connecting to the KVM is displayed on the upper
left of the screen. You can change the KVM connection by keyboard entry.

Activating OSD Simple Mode

Enter the hot key to start the OSD simple mode.

Setting of hot key can be changed in OSD menu mode or on the OSD Setup Menu of the
SIGMABLADE monitor.



Select Hot Key

The following two hot keys are available to start the OSD simple mode.

Quickly press the <Ctrl> key twice, and then release.

Quickly press the <CapsLock> key twice, and then release.



Operation timeout

If the keyboard is not operated for about one minute or longer, the OSD simple mode is
canceled.

NOTES:



During OSD simplified mode operation, OSD requires keyboard to
be operated. Keyboard is prohibited to use for the operating system
installed in CPU blade. When the operation is required, exit from
OSD simplified mode. Mouse is available during OSD simplified
mode.



During OSD simplified mode operation, OSD menu mode is
disabled. OSD simplified mode must be quit when OSD menu mode
is started
