Switch Configuration
You can store the configuration of switch module in EM card. In addition, you can restore (apply) it
and enable/disable automatic restoration.
NOTES:

Make sure that the switch module supports this feature.
The following switch module supports this feature.
– N8406-022 1Gb Intelligent L2 Switch
– N8406-022A 1Gb Intelligent L2 Switch
– N8406-023 1Gb Intelligent L3 Switch
– N8406-023A(AF) 1Gb Intelligent L3 Switch
– N8406-044(F) 1:10Gb Intelligent L3 Switch
– N8406-051(F) 10Gb Intelligent L3 Switch
– N8406-052(F) 10Gb Intelligent L3 Switch
– N8406-040 8G FC Switch (12-Port) (*)
* Fabric OS version: v7.0.0 or higher
In case of the N8406-013 1Gb Interlink Expansion Card, this feature
is not supported and a message
Switch module is not ready.
will be displayed but all other function of the card will work
appropriately.

Make sure that the command line interface mode for the GbE
Intelligent Switch is set to the default AOS mode or BLADEOS
mode (*1).
The GbE Intelligent Switch has two CLI modes (AOS/BLADEOS
and ISCLI).
For backing up/restoration of the switch configuration, use the
default AOS mode.
*1: The mode name differs depending on the firmware version of
the GbE Intelligent Switch .
 To backup/restore the configuration of switch module, you need to
set the IP address for switch module.
For the switch module in which the switch modes are selectable, you can switch over between
modes.
