IDLE

the instrument or AXTS is idle, no errors, ready to
run.

BUSY
nm

a protocol or a single command is being executed
(for example, axis is moving).

FAULT

the instrument or AXTS cannot operate properly,
possible motion fault (axis stalled). It requires
RESET command to continue.

PAUSE
nm

an instrument or AXTS is paused waiting for a
user input - “Pause 0” to continue or “Stop” to
cancel or stop the action.

Where
<n> is a report flag: “1” = a new report message is available,
