For best results with the 96 Cell Wash Head, use:

Low dispense rate
•
Medium to high aspiration rate
•
Fast aspiration descent rate
•
Short aspiration dwell time
•
Probe height of 3 mm or more above the bottom of the well
•
Gentle or no plate shaking
For best results with the 384 Cell Wash Head, use:
•
High dispense rate
•
High aspiration rate
•
Fast aspiration descent rate
•
Short aspiration dwell time
•
Probe height of 2 mm or more above the bottom of the well
•
Gentle or no plate shaking
Note:
If a wash solution containing Tween or another reagent
with low surface tension is used, and the primed head is allowed
to sit between plate washes, some fluid loss through the
dispense pins can occur. If this occurs, a maintenance prime is
recommended before washing the next plate.
