Load
Action:
“1” = Load a plate from stack A, “0” = unload a plate from the
AquaMax Microplate Washer to stack B.
Load
Response:
“No data OK” response if the command succeeds.
Plates
Action:
Returns the number of plates successfully loaded from the
StakMax stacker by running the protocol. The number
changes when a plate is loaded from the StakMax stacker and
its barcode (if present) is read. Host software can use this
command to poll progress of automatic plate loading to
retrieve the loaded plate barcode.

Barcode
Action:
Returns the barcode string read by the StakMax stacker
enclosed by double quotes (if available). The string is cleared
at the start of the plate load (return “”) and updated from the
StakMax stacker barcode reader when the plate is successfully
loaded to the AquaMax Microplate Washer (loaded plate
number is incremented). If the StakMax stacker is unable to
read the barcode command returns “NO BARCODE AVAIL”
string.
The command with an argument requires polling the washer
status for move completion until it is not BUSY. Status IDLE
indicates success, FAULT – if stacker move has failed.
