Sterilant Solution A Concentrate (4X): detergent in buffered
aqueous solution (two 1 L bottles).
•
Sterilant Solution B: sodium hypochlorite in aqueous solution
(two 14 mL bottles)
Materials Required but Not Provided
•
Deionized water
•
Graduated cylinder, with minimum 500 mL capacity
•
Pipettor, with minimum 1 mL capacity
Storage
Store the unopened kit package at a temperature between 10°C and
40°C.
After opening the kit:
•
Store the Sterilant Solution A Concentrate (4X) and any
1X Solution A (prepared by mixing 1 volume of Sterilant
Solution A Concentrate with 3 volumes of deionized water) at a
temperature between 10°C and 40°C.
•
Store the tightly capped bottle of Sterilant Solution B at a
temperature between 2°C and 8°C.
Avoid freezing any of the solutions.
You must use the Complete Sterilant (prepared by mixing 0.2% of
Sterilant Solution B with the prepared 1X Solution A) within one hour of
preparation. Complete Sterilant cannot be stored for later use.
