Edit Bay : General Overview
General Overview
1. View Select and Modifiers
; These keys open Pyramix Windows and dialogs such as
All Settings
and
the
Fade Editor
or
Library
Tab Windows. In a later iteration of software the
Editor
will have the focus
on those windows when they are opened.
2. Transport Control
; This is the same as theTransport Control panel on the main Ramses MSC surface
with the same functions available.
3. Track Selection and User key
s; these keys are used to select a
Track
, or to
Mute
,
Arm
etc. a track
depending on which Modifier they are temporarily assigned to. It is closely linked to the above VCD
(alphanumeric feedback) and will be in the future available for User Defined Macros and Functions.
4. Editor
; all the functions needed to edit quickly and efficiently are labelled on the surface. The big but-
tons at the bottom of the panel are used to select the
Jog Mode
and Modifiers (
Ctrl
,
Alt
etc) to provide
greater functionality. When the Modifiers are pressed and held the available functions will light up on
the editor.
