Expert Panel : Expert Panel Overview
•
To recall a Group and all its faders onto the surface, press
recall
, then
group
and then touch a
Fader
being part of the desired Group, all the Faders belonging to this Group are now in front of
you.
15 Subtract from Group button (-)
In Grouping Mode
When in Grouping mode, pressing the
-
button initiates a '
remove from an existing group
' mode. (Please
see:
14 Group button on page 45
) for more details.
Expert Grouping Mode
In
Grouping mode
, the
-
button, when pressed together with the
+
button, initiates
Expert Grouping
Mode
. In this case both
+
and
-
indicators are lit and addition as well as subtraction from the currently
selected group is possible. Please see
Expert Grouping Mode on page 47
for more details.
Temporary Adjustment Mode
The
-
button can also be used to initiate a '
temporary adjustment
' mode. This mode allows controls to be
moved independent of group laws. It is initiated by holding down the
-
button whilst not in
Group mode
.

The
-
button indicator is lit under three conditions:
•
Whenever the console is in '
Remove From Group
' Mode. This is initiated by hitting the
-
button
after hitting the
Group
button.
•
Whenever the console is in
Expert Grouping Mode
. This is initiated by holding down both the
-
button and
+
button at the same time whilst in
Grouping mod
e.
•
Whenever the
-
button is held down whilst not in
Grouping mode
. This temporarily suspends
grouping laws allowing control of elements such as Faders or Mutes, independent of group control.

16 Faders, Mute & Other indicator
The
Faders
indicator is illuminated whenever the
grouping mode
is active and Faders have been selected
as the
grouping target
.

The Mutes indicator is illuminated whenever the grouping mode is active and Mutes have been selected as
the grouping targets.

The
Others
indicator is illuminated whenever the
grouping mode
is active and refers to
Others
.
After entering
group mode
, if a control such as an
EQ
or
AUX
is touched, the
target
of the grouping func-
tion changes to that control. The indicator will now illuminate and remain lit until a Fader or Mute is touched
to specify an alternate grouping target, or
group mode
is exited, either through pressing
group
again, or
Solo Clear
to escape. It also can be anything on the
Active screen
.

Fader release time
controls glide back when a Fader is released during automation.
