Ramses MSC reference guide

Monitor Panel : EQ Aux and Pan Strip

The number of Mix Source buttons available for selection is defined by the number of Mix Busses config-
ured in Pyramix. If there are only three Mix Busses configured in the Pyramix, buttons 

D

 and 

E

 will do noth-

ing.

These are mutually exclusive 'radio' buttons in a group with the 

External Source

 buttons (

1

 - 

5

 and 

+

), so 

either an External Source button or a Mix Source button must always be selected.

Tips and tricks

Especially for Multistem mixing, you can “unfold”  Mix Buses (click "

+

" on the 

Mix Bus

 in the Pyramix 

Mon-

itor

 Section), then you can cycle through all the Stems from the Ramses 

Mix Sources A-E

 and "

+

" buttons. 

Note: 

This option will be added in future release under the 

Monitor

 section in the 

Active 

Screen

.

Summing

To sum Mix Sources and External Sources select the first source by pressing its button then add sources 
by holding down the 

Mod

 button and adding more sources by pressing their buttons.

4 Monitor Mute / SOLO buttons L, C, R, LS, RS, SUB

Mute

The 

Monitor Mute

 buttons Mute the Monitor Source channels routed to the corresponding speaker loca-

tions.

Thus if 

C

 is pressed, the '

C

' or Centre signal of the bus(es) currently selected to the Monitors is muted and 

the indicator lit.  

Note: 

This is purely a monitoring function. It does not affect the signal present on the bus 

itself, which will continue sending as per normal.

Solo

When used with the 

Mod

 button, the The 

Monitor Mute

 buttons Solo the Monitor Source channels routed 

to the corresponding speaker locations.

Thus if 

C

 is pressed, the '

C

' or Centre signal of the bus(es) currently selected to the Monitors is Soloed and 

the indicator lit. All other source channels are muted.

The solo mode follows the currrently selected solo mode in the Pyramix monitor.
