11 Recall button
Overview
An Ergonomic Spread is the layout of faders currently selected to the surface of the console. The Ergo-
nomic Spread Recall button allows the recall of an Ergonomic Spread from one of the Ergonomic
Spread buttons 1-4 or with the mod button Ergonomic Spreads 5-8
Note: Storing and Recalling an Ergonomic Spread is an entirely non-destructive process.
The only thing that updating, recalling or modifying an Ergonomic Spread affects is which-
faders are currently selected to the slots in your console.
Normal Operation
Pressing the Recall button starts the Recall button indicator flashing and lights the Ergonomic Spread
buttons 1-4 that contain a saved Ergonomic Spread . Pressing the mod button will do the same for Ergo-
nomic spread 5-8 .
This state remains active until an Ergonomic Spread 1-4 button (or 5-8 with mod button) is pressed that
contains a stored Ergonomic Spread - at which point the Ergonomic Spread stored in that Segment or
button is recalled and applied to the console. Now both the Recall button indicator and UPO indicators are
extinguished and Recall Mode is exited. Held Channels are not updated by this process and retain their
original channels.
Note: Whilst in Recall mode an Ergonomic Spread 1-4 button that does NOT contain an
Ergonomic Spread - does nothing. Recall Mode remains active.
Escape from Recall mode
At any time you can escape from Recall mode without having selected any new Ergonomic Spread by
touching either of the Solo Clear touch points.
Recall button indicator
The Ergonomic Spread Store button indicator will be lit whenever the system is in Ergonomic Spread
Recall mode .
Tips and tricks
• It is not necessary to press recall each time, just touching the desired Ergonomic Spread number
is sufficient to recall it.
Note: The button will only light if there is a previously stored Ergonomic Spread .

The Ergonomic Spread buttons 1-4 / 5-8 are storage locations for Ergonomic Spreads.
Ergonomic Spread buttons 1-4 indicators
An Ergonomic Spread button indicator is lit when it has an Ergonomic Spread Stored . These stored
Ergonomic Spreads are saved with each console Template or in the Pyramix project (see page)
13 Add to Group button (+)
In Grouping Mode
When in Grouping mode , pressing the + button initiates ' add to existing group ' mode. See the Group
button (page) for more details.
