Monitor Panel : Monitor Setup in Pyramix

Record button

The Record button sends a Record command to the Pyramix Active Machine.  

Record button indicator

The Record indicator is illuminated whenever the system is in Record.

Tips and Tricks

The Record button will be inactive if no Tracks are record enabled. The Record button will also be inactive 
if no Target Media Drives have been set for the current Pyramix Project. A popup window will show up in 
Pyramix indicating either of these conditions. So long as this popup remains open you may not be able to 
operate Ramses normally. 

Monitor Setup in Pyramix

The Pyramix Monitor (

Version 6 

or higher with 

MassCore 

option) setup is system based (as opposed to 

stored with individual Projects). A monitor setup is saved when the Pyramix application is closed. All the 
Projects you open with your 

Ramses MSC

 will have the Monitor section currently stored in Pyramix.

However, Talkback assignments and Mix Buses are saved with Pyramix Projects.

Before you can use the Monitor it must be enabled by clicking the button in the top-left corner of the window 
so that it lights yellow.

By default the 

Monitor 

window is hidden. It can be opened with 

View > Monitor

 or the 

 icon in the 

View

 

Toolbar.

Ramses makes available the speakers sets (orange buttons) set up in the Pyramix monitor section. They 
are mapped in top to bottom order from the list in
