Mute Grouping
Adding Mutes to or creating a new
Mute group
•

Group button
. (
Group
button indicator lights on Meter Bridge, the target indicator corre-
sponding to the last selected target lights (
Faders
,
Mutes
or
Others
)
•
Now touch any
Mute
If the first Mute touched is not already in a Group, a new Group is created consisting of (initially) just this
Mute
(only this Mute's Meter bridge indicator is now lit) and
Group + Mode
is automatically initiated (
+
indi-
cator is Lit). Now any
Mute
or
Segment
touched will be added to the Group. Meter Bridge indicators are
updated in real time to indicate all members of the current Group.
Note:
Once you've created a new group and are adding
Mutes
, touching a
Mute
that
belongs to another
Group
will remove the
Mute
from its previous
Group
and add it to the
Group
currently being modified.
If the first
Mute
touched is already part of an existing
Group
- that
Group
is now selected. No
Group
mod-
ification is allowed now until either the
Group -
or
Group +
button is pressed. Any other
Group
can be
selected by touching one of it's members - Meter Bridge indicators update to show this Group's members.
Removing Mutes from a Mute Group
Pressing the
Group -
button whilst in
Group mode
will maintain the selection of the current Group, change
from the
+
to the
-
indicator being lit and now allow the subtraction of any
Mute
/
Segment
touched from the
currently selected
Group
. If no
Group
is selected on entering
Group Minus Mode
, the first
Mute
touched
selects the
Group
to be subtracted from.
Escape from the Group mode
Pressing the
Group
button at any time exits the
Grouping mode
.
Touching the
Solo Clear
touch point escapes from
Grouping mode
and discards any changes made since
the mode was initiated.
