PFL/AFL button indicator
The
pfl / afl
button indicator is lit whenever the console is in Pfl or Afl Solo Mode
4 SIP button
Overview
The
SIP
button toggles the solo function between
Solo-In-Place
and normal.
SIP button indicator
The
SIP
button indicator is lit whenever the console is in SIP solo mode.
5 Solo Clear touch point
Overview
Touching the
Solo Clear
touch point (which is also the
Solo Master indicator
) clears any and all currently
active solos. It is functionally identical to the
Solo
Clear
touch point on the
Lower Active Panel
(SEE
PAGE)
Normal Operation
If any channel is solo-ed the
Solo Master
indicator will be lit. Now, when touched, all solos will be removed,
all channel Solo indicators extinguished, the
Solo Master
indicator itself will be extinguished and the moni-
tors resume their normal monitoring mode.
Additional Functions
The
Solo Clear
touch point also acts as an
escape
style command for various different modes. When
touched while in
Grouping Mode
, it exits Grouping Mode and reverts to the group states before Group
Mode was entered. Similarly in
Ergonomic Spreads Store Mode
, when pressed the Store mode is
cleared.
Solo Master indicator
The Solo Master indicator is illuminated if any channel is solo-ed.
Note:
This control has two functions. It's indicator functions as a
Solo Master
indicator,
while it's
Touch Control
functions as a
Solo Clear
.

6 Chair button - ONLY AVAILABLE WITH ARC OPTION
Overview
The
Chair
button toggles between
Chair Mode
and
Wipe Mode
. These two modes determine how chan-
nels are selected using when touching
Segments
on the ARC™. These modes apply equally to any type
of signal paths the ARC™ is displaying using the Aux "
A
" or Mix "
M
" Buttons.
Chair Mode
In
Chair mode
, when you touch a
Segment
of the ARC™, your finger becomes a central point, represent-
ing your chair, and the strip you are pointing to as well as those surrounding your finger are immediately
loaded into all available strip
Slots
. The number of channels or segments being loaded into Channel
Slots
is displayed by a 'window' of lit channel numbers on the ARC™.
