There are two trim calibration methods. The "DEFAULT" method quickly calibrates the trim
to the down position, up position, and maximum trailer position. The "MANUAL" method
enables quick adjustments to the calibration settings and compensate for sensor errors.
NOTE: Trim calibration does not set the maximum propulsion unit trim and trailer limits.
Refer to the engine installation manual for more information on your specific engine.
The trim position sensor changes voltage (current actual %) as the trim is raised or lowered.
Changing the actual % value calibrates the trim level indicator to the trim position sensor.
To compensate for sensitivity of the trim position sensor, select the positions (0 = Down,
10 = Up, and 25 = Maximum Trailer) and adjust the actual % value to match the current
actual % for that known trim position.
DEFAULT METHOD THEORY
The "DEFAULT" method offers a quick and efficient method for calibrating the trim whereby
the three major positions (0 = Down, 10 = Up, and 25 = Maximum Trailer) are calibrated
using the sender position.
DEFAULT METHOD PROCEDURE
1. Open the "TRIM CALIBRATION" screen. The "DEFAULT" method will be highlighted.
Press the check button to select "DEFAULT".

2. The "TRIM ENGINE" screen prompts you to trim all engines or drives "DOWN".
