Trim/Tab Pop‑Up (Settings)
The trim/tab pop‑up window can be modified to be "On" or "Off", its length of time that the
pop‑up remains open as well the quality of the pop‑up detail ("Standard" or "High
Resolution"). Menu path: "Main" > "Settings 2" > "Trim/Tab Popup". Press the check button
to open the "TRIM/TAB SETTINGS" screen.

1. Upon entering the "TRIM/TAB SETTINGS" screen, the "TRIM/TAB POPUP" field will
be highlighted in blue. Press the left or right arrow on the arrow trackpad to toggle
between "ON" or "OFF".
2. Press the down arrow on the arrow trackpad to select the "POPUP TIME" field.
3. Press the left or right arrow on the arrow trackpad to adjust the time that you want to
have the pop‑up remain open on any given screen (range: 2–60 seconds).
4. Press the down arrow on the arrow trackpad to select the "TRIM DELTA %" field.
5. Press the left or right arrow on the arrow trackpad to adjust the percentage of travel the
engine/drive must move, each time the trim control button is pressed, before the trim
pop‑up will appear (range: 0.1–9.9 percent).
NOTE: Setting a higher percentage means that the engine/drive must trim farther to
activate the pop‑up.
Example:
Setting the TRIM DELTA % parameter at 2% means that
the trim system must move 2% in one second for the trim pop‑up to appear for the length
of time set in the "POPUP TIME" field.
If you restrict trim movement to a percentage lower than this parameter, the trim pop‑up
will not appear. This way, you can perform fine trim adjustments by pressing the trim control
button for short periods without activating the trim pop‑up.
Setting the TRIM DELTA % to 9.9 will disable the Trim popup while allowing the Tab popup
to still activate.
6. Press the down arrow on the arrow trackpad to select the "TAB DELTA %" field.
7. Press the left or right arrow on the arrow trackpad to adjust the percentage of travel the
tab must move, each time the tab control button is pressed, before the tab pop‑up will
appear (range: 0.1–9.9 percent).
