Diagnosis
This chapter describes the diagnostic options of MotionOne. Depending on the deliv-
ery, not all diagnostics options may be available.
Information
The delivery DVD includes the file "Provider_Parameter_Overview.xls".
There variables, which are shown in the variable monitor, are described
with corresponding units, data types and default values.
12.1
Control diagnosis
Errors during operation are shown on the diagnostic display (display) of the CPU
module.
Via the Service App "DevAdmin" information of the control can be read and a state
report as well as a chrash report can be triggered. (see Device Administration (De-
vAdmin) [

Error codes
Depending on the version of the CPU module, different error messages can be dis-
played.

Drive diagnosis
The system offers the following options for drive diagnostics:
•
Via DriveManager
•
Via the visualization
•
Directly on the display of the CPU module

12.3
Diagnosis data for LTI
If you encounter a problem with the MotionOnesystem and require support from LTI,
please collect the following information from your system and send it to LTI.
12.3.1
Status report
In order to retrieve the status data of the control, please use the status report func-
tion. It can be triggered as follows:
•
Directly on the CPU module
•
Via the visualization (ViApp)
•
Via Service-App (DevAdmin)
Triggering the status report directly on CPU module
The procedure to trigger the status report directly on the CPU module varies depend-
ing on the model. Detailed information can be found in the project engineering man-
ual of the respective module.
Triggering status report via visualization (ViApp)
To trigger a status report via the visualization, proceed as follows:
1.
Plug a USB stick into the operating panel.
2.
Switch to the Setup screen.
3.
Press the Report button. Select "usb0" in the following dialog.
