Software installation
The installation of MotionCenter starts by inserting the installation CD.
Information
If a component has already been installed the individual product Setup can
only deinstall it.
8.1
Install firmware of the control
No firmware besides the hardware related software is installed on the control at deliv-
ery status. This firmware (without hardware related software) must be loaded to a
USB stick via MotionCenter and with this stick it must be installed on the control.
Therefore an empty USB stick with at least 2 GB memory which is plugged into the
PC is needed.

8.2
Install simulation on the PC
You have the option to create and execute a simulation of the control via MotionCen-
ter. A delivered version of a firmware or a backup of a real control can be simulated.
If a control is simulated the checks made when downloading the application are the
same as when downloading it on a real control. This means that the MotionCenter
project must match with the simulation.
If it is necessary to start more applications which are made vor several devices pro-
ceed as follows:
1.
Choose
Online ► Selective Download to Device
in the menu bar.
2.
Deselect the applications and confirm with OK
3.
Choose
Online ► Login
.
4.
Insert the user data into the opened dialog and confirm with OK.
5.
Select
Login with online change
or
Login with download
and confirm with
OK.
All applications are downloaded to the control simulation even if they are made for
different devices.
