12.3.2 Crashreport
If a system error (e.g. "unhandled exception") occurs, a Crashreport file is created
automatically and stored on the flash storage media of the control. The next time the
control is started it will check if a crashreport file is available. If it is, relevant mes-
sages will be set in the message system. Generally, messages must be confirmed.
The crashreport file can be stored via the display menu or respective the 7 segment
display of the control or via Service-App (see Device Administration (DevAdmin)
[
} 34]) to an USB stick. For more information see the project engineering manual of
the respective control.

12.3.3 Access to flash storage medium
The access to the flash storage medium can only happen via a SSH encrypted SFTP
connection. Therefore a FTP program ahich is installed on the PC is needed. FTP
programs are offered for download in the internet.
To establish a connection to the control with the FTP program the IP address of the
control with the port number must be input into the FTP program.
In addition the following data which must also be inserted into the DTP program is
needed for the connection establishment:
• Login data
• SSH key
For a detailled description see the help of the FTP program.
Information
The selected FTP program must support an authentification via SSH en-
cryption.
Login Data
The following user exists on the control by default and can be used for the connec-
tion.
User name: service
Information
The login data cannot be changed.
SSH key
The SSH key is located on the delivered DVD under
/image/Servicekey/ser-
vice_key.ppk
.
Information
For safety resasons it is recommended to change the SSH key pair (private
key and public key).
