The rectifier cannot be judged by the resistance
value shown in forward direction, because the
diode shows greatly different forward current
flow in accordance with voltage applied, that is,
the tester type and resistance range applied
greatly affect resistance reading. Consequently
the diode should be considered normal when the
resistance difference between the forward direc-
tion and reverse direction is large enough.
