The server does not display a password prompt when:
Neither a power-on or administrator password is set
A power-on password is the only password, the password
prompt is set to OFF and the server is not being started from a
diskette.
In this case, the server starts, but the keyboard is locked. The
keyboard can be unlocked by entering the power-on password.
The passwords do not appear on the screen as you type them.
When you enter the correct password,
OK
appears on the screen. If
you enter the wrong password,
Incorrect password
appears on the
screen, and
Enter password
is again displayed. After three incorrect
attempts, you must turn off the server and start again.

system using the IBM ServeRAID Adapter Configuration
Diskette.
