Replacing the module rail unit (FRU)

1. Remove the four screws (T10) that mount the

module rail unit to the rear unit assembly.

NOTE: Notice the torque during the reassembly:
- if you replaced the CPU assembly, use 1.2 Nm.
- if you didn’t replace the CPU assembly, use 0.8

Nm.

2. Pull out the module rail unit.

•

FRU, Module rail unit, B450

Reassemble in reverse order.

•

Ensure that the module rail unit connector is correctly aligned to the connector in the CPU board.

WARNING

Use only GE specified screws and torque when replacing the module rail
unit.
