B.2.1.3 Subpanel Modifications

Given the limited space available between the instrument panel and subpanel on all RV models, it will be
necessary to modify the subpanel to allow various LRU racks to pass through the subpanel. Although the
actual placement of LRU racks within the G900X/G950 system rack is left to the installer, locations
should ideally be selected so as to allow sufficient space for reinforcement and clearance from other
subpanel attach points.

As shown in Figure B-8, 0.75”x0.75” (0.063” thick) 6061-T6 extruded aluminum angle can be attached
on both front and rear faces of the subpanel. The angle should be riveted together (front and back) at the
corner to provide maximum effectiveness.
