5.6.3.3.1 Fuel Pressure Transducer
Sensor Description:
APTE-6-1000-100G is a 0-100 psiG pressure transducer.
5.6.3.3.2 Oil Pressure Transducer
Sensor Description:
APTE-6-1000-200G is a 0-200 psiG pressure transducer.
5.6.3.3.3 Torque Transducer
Sensor Description:
APTE-51I-1000-85 is a 0-85 psiD differential pressure transducer.
5.6.3.4 ITT
Sensor Description:
Type K thermocouple is typically provided with the engine.
General Installation Guidance:
To maintain G900X/G950 Engine Indicating System (EIS) measurement accuracy, thermocouple (TC)
wire must be connected directly to the GEA, then Type K TC extension wire must be used. To minimize
risk of breakage, it is recommended that a high-quality stranded (as opposed to solid) thermocouple wire
be used. One such example of appropriate wire would be TT-K-22S Type K thermocouple wire from
Omega Engineering.
NOTE
If an ungrounded Type K thermocouple is provided by the engine manufacturer, the low
side must be spliced to a signal ground pin. Refer to Appendix F- J for system
interconnects.
5.6.3.5 Signal
Conditioner
Sensor Description:
Converts a maximum sinusoidal, 26 Vac – 400 Hz output from turbine engine tach generators to a digital
signal.
