C.2.18 Piston Flaps and Trim Calibration Verification
Check to see if the trim/flap position is accurate. This should include a run up and down to the stops of
each system installed to verify appropriate display. See Figure C-19, C-20, and C-21 for an example of
flaps, elevator, rudder, and aileron indications.

NOTE
This calibration procedure only allows for two calibration points. The installer may need
to make mechanical adjustments to get the desired affect on the display. One method for
trim control surfaces is to set the calibration points at the sensors maximum travel
up/down or left/right. Then move the control surface until the display shows centered.
Make mechanical adjustments as necessary to get the control surface to agree with the
display.
