Revision D

The minimum distance between the top of the AHRS and bottom of the cover is .50 in. (see Figure B-81).
Since this area is used for baggage, it is likely baggage will encounter the cover. The distance allows for
some deflection of the cover without letting the cover be exposed to unit. The minimum distance between
the forward end of the AHRS unit and forward face of the cover is 3.75 in. (see Figure B-81). This
distance ensures the wire harness can be routed to the unit without tight bends. Chafe protection for the
wire harness is required in areas where the harness is not secured and has the potential to come in contact
with the cover. In this example, the cover can be secured at bulkhead and floor attachments.
