C.1.7 Calibration Verification
C.1.7.1 Fuel Quantity Calibration Verification (required for piston engine
installations only)
Verify calibration was performed by noting the displayed quantity of fuel (should be verified by the
installer).
NOTE
When verifying the quantity of fuel, the fuel tank should ideally be full or empty.
The calibration table can be viewed on the FUEL TANK CALIBRATION page (Figure C-11). The
following should be checked and noted:
•
Actual aircraft tank size (one side) _________
•
# of calibration points used _________
•
Calibration table has a realistic trend and no unusual data points are observed

C.1.7.2 Fuel Flow Calibration Verification
Obtain the Floscan 201B-6 (201-0303-000) K factor value and verify the ENG 1 SCALE value has been
entered per Section 15.4.1.
