15.2.3 G900X/G950 System Software Upload

NOTE

The airframe, engine, and electrical system categories are broken down based on whether
a turboprop or a piston EIS system is being configured. Categories must be consistently
selected as turboprop or piston (depending on the airframe, engine, and electrical system)
for the system to be configured properly.

15.2.3.1 Airframe_Piston

Purpose

The “Airframe_Piston” parameter sets all appropriate
airframe variables including such things as V-speeds, fuel
qty, etc. It also determines the type of EIS page available
if an engine is to be configured.
The “Supplemental Piston Airframe” entry is used to load
the baseline system software and configuration for
airframes which are supported through supplemental
configuration not in the released G900X software image.

The following selections are available for configuration of the selected G900X/G950 airframe piston
