If the error persists, the lead cable or relay cable may be faulty.
Contact our service representative.
The <ECG Disconnected> message is displayed.
Cause : While monitoring the ECG, the relay cable was unplugged.
Solution 1 : To cease monitoring, press the (Alarm Silence) key. The
message will disappear, and the alarm will be silenced.
Solution 2 : To continue monitoring, plug in the ECG relay cable. This will clear
the message and silence the alarm.
The <ECG Check Electrodes> <ECG Check Electrodes (Chest)> message is
displayed.
Cause : The electrode is detached, or is not making good electrical contact
with the skin.
Solution : Check if the electrodes are properly attached.
Replace the electrodes.
Make sure that the lead cable or relay cable is not defective (wire
break, etc.).
The <ECG Communication Error> message is displayed.
Cause : Communication error with the ECG board has occurred.
Solution : Reboot the equipment. If the same message is repeatedly displayed,
a failure of the equipment can be considered. Cease the
measurement and contact our service representative.
The measurement data is displayed as “xxx”.
Cause : The heart rate is outside the measurement range.
Solution :

Check if the electrodes are properly attached.

Replace the electrode, or check the lead cable and relay cable.
Artificial pacemaker pulse is not displayed.
Cause 1 : [OFF] is selected for "Pacemaker" on the "Admit" screen.
Solution : Select [ON] for "Pacemaker".
Cause 2 : [OFF] is selected for “Pace Pulse” on the "HR/PR Setup" screen.
Solution : Select [ON] for “Pace Pulse” .
Cause 3 : The electrode attachement site is not appropriate.
Solution : Attach the electrodes correctly.
Respiration (RESP)
0 (zero) is displayed for respiration rate.
Cause : The amplitude of the respiration waveform is too low.
Solution : Change the electrode site so that the ECG amplitude is increased.
Because the impedance respiration detection shares the ECG
electrodes, if “Lead Off” is displayed or the electrode condition is
unstable, the respiration rate may not be displayed correctly.
