(1) Clean/disinfect/sterilize the

probe according to the
guidelines provided with the
probe product.

(2) Insert the probe into the

rectum about 3 to 7 cm deep.

(3) Secure the probe to inner

thigh with surgical tape.

4. Verify that the temperature measurement is displayed on the monitor.
