Setup
This section describes the setup procedure for C-LOCK, SEC alarm, SpO
2
alarm,
and alarm generation at NIBP measurement.
NOTE
The SEC alarm function utilizes SatSeconds
TM
technology of
Covidien. SatSeconds
TM
is a trademark of Covidien.
C-LOCK
The C-LOCK function uses the ECG R-wave as the synchronized signal to
increase the SpO
2
measurement accuracy.
1 Press the (Menu) key, and select “Parameter Setup” > “SpO2 Setup”
> C-LOCK.
2 Select [ON] or [OFF].
SEC Alarm
When the SpO
2
value is unstable around the lower alarm limit, the frequently
generated alarm may be bothersome. The SEC alarm function controls these
frequent alarms.
This function generates the alarm only when the integral value (the accumulation
of difference between the alarm limit and SpO
2
value at every second) reaches
the preprogrammed SEC alarm threshold value.
The integral value of the SEC alarm is calculated as follows.
