Cleaning
This section explains how to clean the equipment and sensors.
Cleaning the Display Panel
Use a cleaning cloth to clean the display panel.
CAUTION
 When cleaning the display panel, never use strong-acidic
cleaning solution.
 Do not wipe the display panel with a cloth or gauze with
coarse texture. Wipe the surface with the soft cleaning cloth
provided as optional accessory or with an eyeglass cleaning
cloth.
Cleaning the Housing
Clean the housing using tightly squeezed gauze or an absorbent cotton cloth
dampened with alcohol or a neutral cleanser.
CAUTION
 Clean the equipment frequently so stains can be removed
easily.
 To prevent injury, it is recommended to wear gloves when
cleaning the equipment.
 Do not allow liquids or cleaning solution to enter the monitor
or connectors.
 Do not use organic solvents, thinner, toluene and benzene to
avoid damaging the resin case.
 Do not polish the housing with abrasive or chemical cleaner.
 When sterilizing the entire room using a spray solution, pay
close attention not to have liquids get into the equipment or
connectors.
 Use only neutral detergent to clean the housing. (Do not use
chemical cloths, scrubbing brushes, abrasives, polishing
powder, hot water, volatile solvents or chemicals (cleanser,
thinner, benzene, benzol, and synthetic detergent for house
and furniture), or sharp-edged tools. The surface resin
coating may be damaged, resulting in discoloration,
scratches, and other problems.
Cleaning the NIBP Cuff and Air Hose
To clean the cloth bag of the cuff, remove the rubber bag and wash it using
neutral detergent. After drying, replace the rubber bag into the cloth bag.
