Filter Mode
Select the filter mode from “Monitor Mode”, “ESIS Mode”, or “Diagnosis Mode”
according to the monitoring purpose. Each mode has different frequency
characteristic.
The selected filter mode will be printed along with other data.
1 Press the (Menu) key, and select “Parameter Setup” > “HR/PR Setup”
> “Filter Mode”.
The “Filter Mode” window will be
displayed.
2 Select from [Diagnosis Mode] / [Monitor Mode] / [ESIS Mode].
Diagnosis Mode
0.05 to 40 Hz The lowest frequency is set to 0.05Hz to allow monitoring
of low frequency ECG.
Monitor Mode
0.5 to 40 Hz This is the standard mode for ECG monitoring.
The highest frequency is set to 40Hz to reduce artifact
caused by EMG.
ESIS Mode
1.6 to 15 Hz The highest frequency is limited to 15Hz so that it can
largely reduce the high-frequency artifact.
NOTE
When the filter mode is changed, a notch will appear on the
ECG waveform due to the change in frequency characteristic.
HR/PR Source
Select the HR/PR source from ECG or SpO
2
.
1 Press the (Menu) key, and select “Parameter Setup” > “HR/PR Setup”
> “HR/PR Source”.
The “HR/PR Source” window will be
displayed.
2 Select from [SpO2]/[ECG]/[Auto].
[SpO2] : The HR/PR will be measured from SpO
2
wave. SpO
2
synchronized
mark will be also displayed.
[ECG] : The HR/PR will be measured from ECG. HR synchronized mark will be
also displayed.
[Auto] : The measurable parameter will be automatically selected in the priority
of ECG > SpO
2
