Using the Infrared Remote
Control Function

Download the software appropriate for the prod-
uct you want to control. Even the correct soft-
ware may not support the product, which cannot
be controlled by the FOMA terminal.

You cannot use the infrared remote control in
Self mode.
Using remote control

Direct the infrared data port of the FOMA termi-
nal at the remote control sensor on TV, etc. The
remote control is effective within 4 meters away
from the product. This may vary depending on
the ambient light level.

” is a useful application
equipped with the program guide and AV
remote control function, which can be used free
of charge.
Get information about analog or digital TV pro-
grams easily anytime and anywhere. You can
find a program title, contents, time, etc.
If you want to watch a program, access the
Internet to reserve recording on a DVD recorder
(You need an HD DVD recorder compatible with
a remote reservation function. To use the func-
tion, make the initial settings of this application).
You can search for information by any keywords
such as a genre or your favorite TV personality.
You can control a TV, video or DVD player
remotely (Some models are not compatible).

Remote reservation function
If you have a DVD recorder compatible with a
remote reservation function, you can access the
Internet to use this application’s program guide and
reserve recording remotely. To reserve remotely,
make the initial settings of this application.

Reserving a program
After making the initial settings, select a program

Internet to the DVD recorder selected with this
application, and the program will be reserved.
