The Properties Display

EPICenter Reference Guide

Right-click on a slot and select

Properties

from the pop-up menu that appears. The Device Slot

Properties window appears. The information displayed in this window depends on whether the
module requires additional software to be installed.

The Device Slot Properties window appears, as shown in

Figure 43

.

For modules that require a special version of ExtremeWare to be installed, the Slot tab displays all the
following information. For modules that do not require a special version of ExtremeWare, a subset of
this information is shown:

Slot Name

The number, or letter, of the slot where the module is installed

Configured Type

The type of module that is configured for the slot

Inserted Type

The type of module that is inserted into the slot

Module State

The operational state of the module

Serial Number

The serial number of the module
