55. Tap the housing with a rubber mallet until it drops over the first Output Bearing to the

second one.

56. Ensuring that the locator pins in the lower housing are aligned properly, continue tap

ping evenly around the perimeter of the upper housing, until both sealing surfaces are

tightly together.

57. Cover the hydrostatic pump opening in some way to avoid anything at this point from

entering the inside of the transmission.
