Building Assy. A

1. Locate 1 CE-006 Planet Gear Carrier and place it down into a hot oil bath. (Cooking

Oil heated in a regular

plug in style

frying pan will do the job effectively). Heat the oil

to approximately 275-300 degrees F and let sit for about 2-3 minutes.

2. Take 4 CE-007 Planet Gears 23T and install a 101-69 needle bearing into each one.

These bearings should just drop in.

3. Remove the Planet Gear Carrier from the oil bath and let drain a little before moving

it to a bench.

4. Install each of the 4 Planet Gears with bearings, to the carrier, securing each one with

a CE-008 Planet Shaft. Drop the shafts through both the carrier and pinion. The shafts

will need to be installed the remainder of the way using a mallet.

Be sure to insert

the shafts with the threaded side facing up.
