2.  Apply LOCTITE 242 (blue) to the threads of 2 112-108 Set Screws and install them 

flush into the Left Housing as in 

Photo TR-261 

3.  Apply LOCTITE 242 (blue) to the threads of 2 112-88 Set Screws and plug the 2 holes 

in the Left Housing as in 

Photo TR-262

4.  Place the Left Housing into some form of stand to secure it while assembling the internal 

components.  Blow the housing free of any dirt or filings before beginning assembly.

5.  Install the CE-027 Idler Steering Shaft to the housing using a soft faced mallet to seat 

it into the housing.

   Orient it as in

6.  Next, install a 101-67 needle bearing to the CE-026 Idler Gear 26T.

7.  Locate the previously assembled Spline Adapter, ( 

Assy. F

), and install it to the housing, 

bearing side down. Simultaneously, install the CE-026 Idler Gear to the Idler Shaft.
