Brake System Centaur Service Manual

8. Reinstall the 4 socket head bolts which hold the caliper assembly together. Use blue

LOCTITE on the threads of the fasteners. Torque the bolts to the specified torque.

9. Place the check ball, bleeding screw and rubber plug back into the threaded mount of

the caliper casting.

10. Slide the brake pads into the calipers and secure with 2 new cotter pins.

Hydraulic Brake Caliper Installation

1. Remount the caliper to the transmission by aligning the access hole in the brake disc

with that of the threaded mounting boss on the transmission. LOCTITE the threads

of the 2 hex head mounting bolts with blue LOCTITE 242 and secure the caliper (with

the 2 flat washers) to the transmission. Torque to specifications.

2. Reattach the steel brake line at the cali

per.
