Scratches or Scoring

Badly worn brake pads, or abnormal or excessive braking of the vehicle, can cause serious

damage to the brake discs. Inspect the brake discs for conditions listed in the chart above

and perform the recommended servicing procedures

7. Install the mechanical brake caliper assembly to the mounting boss on the transmission

using 2 bolts and 2 lock washers. LOCTITE the threads with blue 242 LOCTITE.

Torque to specifications

It is always recommended to use new cotter pins whenever possible. Metal fatigue from

continuous bending can cause them to become ineffective, with possible breaking occurring

and danger of the cable becoming disconnected.
