23. Install the 479-03 Steel Ball and 486-05 Spring. Place the ball into the housing fol

lowed by the Spring.

24. Secure the Spring and Ball with a 112-89 set screw. LOCTITE the threads of the set

screw with 242 (blue). Thread the set screw in flush to the casting.

If the set screw is too tight, shifting will be hard. If the set screw is too loose it could

pop out of gear.
