Configuring Your Server 4-33
Information of VD configured and
physical devices connected with the
controller.
WebBIOS Menu
Controller Selection: Goes back to Adapter Selection menu.
Controller Properties: Displays properties of the controller.
Scan Devices: Detects Hard Disk Drives connected with the controller again.
Virtual Drives: Opens operation window for VD that has already been configured.
Drives: Opens operation window for Hard Disk Drive connected with the controller.
Configuration Wizard: Displays the wizard to configure VD.
Physical View / Switches indication between Hard Disk Drives and VD configuration.
Logical View:
Events: Displays event data.
Exit: Goes to Exit menu of WebBIOS.
Status Indication of Virtual Drive (not shown on Physical View)
Optimal: Indicates that the VD is in normal state.
The indication is green.
Partially Degraded: Indicates that one of the Hard Disk Drives in the relevant VD is degraded in RAID6 configuration.
The indication is blue.
Indicates that one or two of the Hard Disk Drives in the relevant VD is degraded in RAID6
configuration. Degraded:
The indication is blue.
Offline: The relevant VD is in offline state.
The indication is red.
Initialization: The relevant VD is being initialized.
ConsistencyCheck: Consistency Check is being performed to the relevant VD.
Rebuild: The relevant VD is being rebuilt.
BackGroundInitialize: The relevant VD is being initialized in background.
Status Indication of Hard Disk Drive
Reconstruction: The relevant VD is being reconstructed.
Unconfigured Good: The Hard Disk Drive connected with the controller is not in use.
The indication is blue.
Online: Indicates that the Hard Disk Drive in configuration is in normal state.
The indication is green.
Offline: Indicates that the Hard Disk Drive in configuration is in offline state.
The indication is red.
Unconfigured Bad: The relevant Hard Disk Drive is faulty.
