Access to the Pump s
The aft pump and high water pump ca n be acce ssed through the eq uipment hatch in the aft
cockpit oor. The forward pump can be accessed through a hatch under the cushion on the
ca bin berth.
Maintenance
To cl ean the pump strainer, depress the lock tabs on both sides of the pump and lift the motor.
If water does not co me out of the disch arge hose:
1 . Remove the motor module to see if the impeller rotates with the power on.
2 . Remove any debris that may have accu
mulated in the impeller sect ion or strainer base.
3 . Check hose and co nnect ion on hull side for debris and proper co nnect ions.
F loat Switch
requently inspect the area under the oat switches to ensure they are free from debris and oil.
To cl ean:
S oak in heavy duty bilge cl eaner for 1 0 minutes, agitating several times.
Check for unrestricted operation of the oat.
Repeat the cl eaning proce dure if nece ssary.
