Stop p ing Procedure
Use the following ch eckl ist at the end of each mission to
verify that the appropriate boat systems are configured
for a short period of non-use at the dock.
If you are not going to use the boat for a long period of
time, refer to
O ff- Season Storage in S ect ion 6 .

P ut both D TS co ntrol levers in NE UTRAL

S ecu re the boat and deploy fenders and fender
boards

P ush the push to stop buttons for each engine

Turn main engine ke y switch es to the OF F
position

V erify that the boat trim tabs are fully retract ed

P ower down all elect ronic eq uipment following
manufact urer’ s instruct ions

Center the outboard engines before tilting to
avoid co ntact with the boat’ s transom

Raise engines to full Tilt Up position and engage
tilt locks

Turn engine/ house battery OF F -ON switch es to
OF F position

V erify bilge pump c ontrol switch es are in the AUTO
position ( bilge pumps have an uninterruptible
power supply to support automatic operation)

Connect and act ivate shore power, if appropriate

V erify shore power polarity
K eep the b ilge p ump control switches in the AU T O
p osition anytime the b ilge drain p lug is in p lace,
whether the b oat is in the water or on a trailer.
L eaving the b oat unattended for long p eriods of
time with the b ilge p ump control switches in the
O F F p osition can allow rainwater or melting snow
to accumulate in the b ilge.
