Gasoline F uel System
The Gasoline F uel System Diagram in this sect ion
shows locations of the fuel tank, fuel fill, fuel tank vent,
fuel level sending unit, fuel withdrawal tubes, fuel shutoff
valves, and the fuel filters.
This boat is eq uipped with a single, ce nterline gasoline
fuel tank. The tank is manufac tured using marine-
grade aluminum. It is loca ted under the co ckp
it and ca n
be acce ssed by raising the eq uipment hatch in the aft
co ckp it deck. The fuel tank ca paci ty is 4 5 0 gal. ( 1 7 0 3 L ) .
The fuel level sensor ca n be acce ssed via the plate
forward of the leaning post. The fuel lines for the tank
ca n be acce
ssed through the deck c over loca ted at the
ce nter base aft of the leaning post.
The fuel tank has an elect ric sending unit that sends fuel
level readings to the V essel V iew display at the helm
station.
The fuel tank is vented through the fuel fill fitting and fuel
ca p.
The fuel tank has a separate fuel withdrawal tube for
each outboard engine. E ach fuel withdrawal tube has
a manual fuel shutoff valve. Y ou ca n use these valves
to stop fuel ow during storage, during fuel system
servicing, or in the event of an on board fire.
The fuel valve is in the O N position when the lever is
parallel with the valve body and the fuel valve is in the
O F F position when the black lever is perpendicu lar to
the valve body.
The fuel tank has a manufact urer’ s co mplianc e label
next to the fuel withdrawal hoses. The co mpliance label
incl udes information about tank c apaci ty, co nstruct ion
materials, construction certification, and construction
date.
